Entrepreneurship

INTRODUCTION:

At Missouri State University, we recognize the increased growth in self-employment at the national, regional, and local levels, and our intent is to help students create jobs.  The Entrepreneurship program accomplishes this by providing students with an entrepreneurial education that prepares them for starting or acquiring their own business ventures.  The program has an interdisciplinary focus with required courses in marketing, finance, accounting, and management.  In the entrepreneurship courses, students apply their knowledge by working with potential startups and existing businesses from the community.  The Entrepreneurship program offers a Major and two Minors.  Find out more about the Entrepreneurship program from the information below or by contacting Dr. Tami Knotts, professor of Management at Missouri State University.
